Early planning helps to ensure a successful event and the Albany
CVB can help you with contacting hotels, event facilities and
caterers by requesting proposals from our Albany Area Chamber of
Commerce member businesses. If you would like Albany to host
your conference, convention or other special event, let us
assist your group in “Discovering Albany.”

Information
To
assist out-of-town guests, the Convention and Visitors
Bureau will provide you at no cost with reasonable
quantities of our visitor guide booklets that include
phone numbers, lodging, restaurants, golf courses, and
other pertinent information for your visit.

Hotel Bids
The Albany CVB
will also send out a group rate bid request to all of
our Albany Area Accommodations to make your planning
easier.
Facility Rental and
Catering
A list of facilities that can accommodate your
convention group, family reunion, or special event will
be provided, as well as a list of our area caterers. We
are more than happy to save you time by sending out any
requests for proposals to these facilities and caterers.
Visitor Bags
We
respectfully request 15 days notice if you are
requesting Visitor Bags. Complimentary visitor bags
include an Albany Visitors Guide. You may choose to add
to your bags any items from our gift shop. Please refer

Letters
Upon request the Albany CVB can provide a welcome letter
for your special event signed by our mayor and/or city
officials
