Albany Chapter of Women in Construction awards
Scholarships to Albany Tech Students
July 1, 2008 - The Albany Chapter of Women in
Construction awarded two scholarships to Albany
Technical College students during the
organization’s annual banquet on June 24, 2008.
Jessica Shepherd , an environmental horticulture
student, and Thomas Wells, a drafting student,
each received a $500 scholarship.
Women in Construction Chapter Number 65 is made
up of nearly 30 women in various construction
related fields. Each year, the organization
awards scholarships to one or more students who
are majoring in construction related programs at
Albany Tech.
