Strategic Activities of the Literacy Program: 

1. Revitalize the Certified Literate Community Program (CLCP) (Gather literacy data and measure against prior goals to identify gaps that must be met in the next three years.)

2. Identify and create database of literacy providers and individuals/entities in need of literacy services. 

3. Serve as a vocal advocate for literacy and ambassador for the CLCP effort. (Speak to civic clubs, etc.) 

4. Prepare and submit targeted grant applications to generate additional resources for the CLCP program.
